another mixed media on paper+ birthday pop-up card

 Deze maakte ik al een poos geleden. Ik hou van de rust en eenvoud die het uitstraalt.

I made this one a while ago. I like its simplicity.

Ook maakte ik nog deze verjaardagskaart met 2 pop-ups. De achtergrond met indigo pigment had ik nog liggen, dus met een stukje blauw papier had ik al snel een nieuwe kaart.

I also made this birthday card with 2 pop-ups. I still had the background with indigo pigment lying around, so with a piece of blue paper I soon had a new card. (folding pattern by Srushti Patil)

pencil experiments

 3 verschillende ontwerpen telkens van hetzelfde woord. De uitdaging daarbij is het gebruik van hoofd-en kleine letters + ook te letten op de verbinding tussen letters en om deze er zo organisch mogelijk te laten uitzien.

 3 different designs each of the same word. The challenge here is the use of upper and lower case letters + also paying attention to the connection between letters and to make them look as organic as possible.

bij het onderste woord: verbinding tussen O en N / E + R-bottom word: connection between O and N / E + R

 Een huiswerk dat ik eerder al maakte, maar vergat te posten

A homework I did earlier but forgot to post:

Volledig buiten mijn comfortzone: geel ! Maar de opdracht an sich is vrij goed gelukt. De opdracht was: gebruik een combinatie van vlakken, een lijn en tekst. Wat vinden jullie ?

 Completely out of my comfort zone: yellow ! But the assignment an sich worked out pretty well. The assignment was: use a combination of shapes, a line and text. What do you  think ?

 

In november liet ik jullie al een paar oorringen zien, die ik maakte. Ik heb er nog gemaakt, maar de foto's stonden nog op het apparaat ! Maar hier zijn ze.

Back in November, I showed you some earrings I made. In the meantime I made some more, but the photos were still on my phone ! But here they are.

bovenste rij: leer en stof/2de+3de rij: papier - on top: leather/fabric / others: paper

left: paper / others: fabric - links gebruikte ik karton en papier, voor de anderen: stof

enkel nog de haakjes bevestigen-just need to attach the hooks
