Deze maand werkte ik rond het thema van Birgit (Gramsch) zelf. Zij koos 'toestand'. Moeilijk thema, maar toen ik haar om verduidelijking vroeg, bleek het zowat alles te kunnen zijn... Ik koos voor een chaotische toestand en kwam zo bij de chaostheorie en de wetenschapper Mandelbrot terecht.
This month I worked with Birgit's theme: 'state, condition'. Not an easy theme, but after some thinking I went for the state of CHAOS, started digging and arrived at the chaos-theory and the scientist Mandelbrot.

Het andere project van Birgit - de kallizines - kwam deze maand ook tot een einde, dus deden we voor de laatste keer, nog eens extra ons best.....
De sleutelwoorden waren deze maand: elfje (de gedichtvorm) - collage- monoline. Deze drie elementen moesten er dus al zeker in zitten.
Birgit's other project - kallizine - came to an end after 10 months, so we did an extra effort... The keywords for this month were: "eleven" (art of poem, similar to a haiku) - monoline and collage.
I started by tearing apart some collage papers and gluing them down, without thinking too much about it, just at random.
Ik begon met het scheuren en plakken van een aantal papiertjes uit de 'collage-doos', zonder al te veel nadenken.
Op de foto hierboven heb ik tekst toegevoegd in monoline (Epps-Evans type) met speedball pennen C1-C2 en C5 en gouache Pruisisch blauw

De vouwboekjes zijn ondertussen al op hun eindbestemming bij mijn groepsleden. Hopelijk houden ze van deze stijl.
