I am brilliant...

 

Nog steeds op ontdekkingsreis met het Carolingisch, nu nog met potlood. 

De tekst is van Johan Cruijff : "Bij vlagen ben ik geniaal maar nu is het windstil".

Volgende week probeer ik eens iets in kleur. 

I am still exploring the Carolingian font , all in pencil for the time being. The text is by Johan Cruijff, but sounds very silly in English (I'm sorry for that):  "At times I am brilliant, but now there is no wind."

 Next week I'll try something like this in colour.

Believe you can...

 Waarom eens niet in het geel moet ik gedacht hebben bij deze. De tekst nog steeds in gouache in foundational. De grotere letters met aquarelverf en potlood.

 I must have thought, why not yellow this time? The text is still in gouache in foundational script. The larger letters are in watercolour and pencil.

 De tekst is van oud-president Theodore Roosevelt. Het laatste woordje ontbreekt, maar hij gaat dat zeker niet erg vinden....

 The text is by former President Theodore Roosevelt. The last word ('there')is missing, but I'm sure he won't mind...

ART is the voice of the heart

 Nog een huiswerkje dat was blijven liggen van een aantal weken geleden.

 Another piece of homework that had been left lying around for several weeks....

A-R en T zijn bewerkte stempels- text in foundational met gouache- A,R and T are stamps and I wrote the text in gouache in foundational type.

Spijtig genoeg is het zwart van het papier niet goed vast te leggen op foto. 
 Unfortunately, the black colour of the paper doesn't show up well in photos.
